Cloud communications · Explained clearly
Every call has a path. Make yours intentional.
Build call routing around the way your business works. From the first menu to the missed-call destination, each step should be clear.
Conceptual call flow — not a live phone system
- 01Incoming call
- 02Auto attendant
- 03Team
- 04Voicemail / forwarding
A hosted business phone system can help route incoming calls to the right people, whether they’re at a desk, across departments or working remotely. Exact feature availability depends on the chosen plan and approved configuration.
Auto attendants
Give callers clear options such as Sales, Support or Billing. A phone menu can send each selection to the appropriate team without requiring a receptionist for every call.
Ring groups
Route calls to a department or group rather than depending on a single employee. Ring behavior is configurable according to the supported service and business requirements.
Voicemail and forwarding
Define what happens when a call is missed or a team is unavailable. Send calls to voicemail or supported forwarding destinations, based on your agreed call-flow design.
Desktop and mobile calling
Supported desktop and mobile applications can help users communicate away from their desk. App availability, device compatibility and supported functions must be verified for the quoted plan.
Multi-location call routing
Plan a consistent calling experience across offices. Location-specific hours, departments and call paths can be discussed as part of implementation.
Example call flow
Incoming call → Auto attendant → Department → Ring group or user → Voicemail or forwarding. This is a conceptual demonstration, not a connection to an active customer’s phone system.
Routing scenarios
Three example call-routing scenarios
Open a scenario to see how an incoming call could be handled. These examples are educational only and do not connect to a live phone system.
Small office — Sales and Support
Incoming call → Auto attendant → Sales or Support → Assigned ring group → Voicemail if unanswered
Give callers two clear choices and a fallback. The team’s available routing behavior must be confirmed in the selected plan.
Multi-location — Route by department
Incoming call → Main menu → Department → Approved location or user group → Voicemail / supported forwarding
Coordinate location-specific calls and business hours where supported by the approved system design.
After hours — Clear caller expectations
Incoming call → After-hours greeting → Approved voicemail box or supported forwarding destination
Explain office hours and how callers can leave a message. Any emergency or overflow handling must be separately configured and tested.
Each path is illustrative. Call features and device/app compatibility are subject to the written quote and service configuration.
Choose features with confidence
We evaluate requirements and confirm supported services in a written quote. Call recording, transcription, SMS/MMS and integrations are excluded from the base prices unless separately included in the approved offer.
